it should be a slow process curt. this should not be attempted quickly or without supervision.

i would first try switching all your bookmarks over to firefox and then...(i know it's tough) delete all bookmarks from IE. you may use everyother day for a week but No adding more bookmarks. that way when you need a bookmark you go to FF.
next, place the ie icon next too ff icon so though you may want IE and go toward ie, you will inevitably click on ff.
then. continue to use ff only and only open up IE once a week for three weeks.
after that the tough withdrawl period should be over and you should be well established with bookmarks and cookies on ff.
i still have ie on my desktop but only occasionally use it for various sites. i think i leave it for a reminder...all those '404 errors', 'still processing' and 'site not found' crud i use to always get...yet i'd keep going back.

now, i remember. and i choose FF.

good luck curt and be careful!
