Fatigue is a DEFINITE symptom of depression. Its always one of the first listed when you look it up. If you feel it is bad enough to interfere with your life, you may want to talk to your doc. It may be a temporary thing because of the stress in your life right now, but it may not. I think the main indicator is how long it lasts. Everyone has depression occasionally that they eventually come out of. Its the kind that you never come out of that usually requires some type of medical intervention.

Do you have a therapist? A T would be able to help you figure out if this is temporary or not. Plus you can vent to your heart's content because its their job to listen!

I've added Wellbutrin to my dose of Prozac, and find a definite lift from it. Both it and Prozac are pretty stimulating, and I'm on the highest doses of both. Without meds my depression borders on catatonic, so my treatment wouldn't work for everybody. I actually have to keep Zanax on hand just in case it developes into anxiety. I know this is caused in part by the meds, and I HATE to take a med for the side effects of another med, but I've found this is the best combo for me (and I've tried many, believe me).

Not that I'm trying to scare you away from Wellbutrin, you don't have to take the high dose I am. I just wanted to point out there are always pro's and con's with meds, which I'm sure you already knew anyway.

If your doctor approves, you may want to try it. Just keep in mind you may feel jittery at first, but this goes away for the most part once you've had it in your system a while.

I know some people will disapprove of my treatment, but they haven't lived my life. So please, no lectures anybody, okay?
