Its hard to see our kids hurt. Harder than anything. But if you talk about it she will grow and learn and be a better person for the experience.
Sounds like you a fantastic Mom taking care of your child and your kid sounds socially responsible, which sadly is not so common these days.
Sounds like it was handled well and resolved pretty much.
Just a little sorting out of feelings involved, and you can all learn and grow.
