i'm thinking linehan may have said it...
what i really need is something about heightened levels of physiological arousal leading to narrowing of attention
and i actually need to read it so i can see whether i can modify it so as to apply it to something else...
(paradoxically a lack of heightened levels of phsyiological arousal which should have occured - but didn't. or maybe the very notion of trying to apply it to this is completely confused...)
