Absolutely, I think that's the answer. In my experience though it seems that a lot of people try to justify what is really nothing more than personal distaste, with reasons that are inconsistant, or have no basis in fact. You know, like saying "Immigrants are stealing all our jobs" as a justification for prejudice.
Sometimes you just don't like something, and I think that's fine, as long as you can keep it at that.
