i made a list of all ofa all your reccomendations...
i think all of you who posted to this thread will love the movie A Love Song for Bobby Long;
i was so impressed I bought the soundtrack today, which is phenomenol, theres some Los Lobos and alot of really incredible New Orleans' blues, John Travolta doing a couple suprizingly excellent folk songs, and Nada Surf's "Blonde on Blonde", my favorite on the cd.
the movie's about growing up and self discovery, lonliness, love lost, and found again. John travolta plays a lonely alcoholic poet, and Scarlett Johanassen a teenage girl who's forced to live with him, a stranger, after her mother leaves the house the them in her will. The dynamic between the two and how it morphs over the course of the film is really...pretty.
so rent it tonight, its in the new release section.
