Do you have an option "Open with" or "Open using", something like that?
I really don't know how easily a pdf file could be converted to powerpoint, because of the way each document is formatted, including paras, bullets, pagination, etc. If the pdf file isn't too long, perhaps you can open a new powerpoint file and cut and paste from the pdf file.
I'll keep thinking to see if I can think of something. It is so much easier for me to find a solution when I have the programs and can fool around to see what works.
