taking a babble break

Posted by nikkit2 on April 14, 2005, at 4:42:39

I'm taking a wee babble break..

I'm getting myself too wound up and upset over some stuff here at the moment, and I need to walk away before I completely go off on one..

I don't understand, and doubt I ever will, why people, who obviously dislike it here, and dislike Dr Bob's way of running this place, hang around simply to stir up trouble and upset people.

I worry that some people seem intent on trying to get this place closed down.. And if the "rules" are sooo evil, why hang around?? I'm not talking about long time babblers who have seen the rules change over the years, and are upset over one or two issues, I mean the people that are really relatively new (or maybe are actually longer term members under a new guise), and just keep pick, pick, pick at the rules..

One of the reason I *like* it here is the civility rules.. I like that I can open up and not be called an idiot (or much ruder)..

Oh, I'm fed up.. So gonna try and take a break.. Whether I manage it or not is one thing, but at the moment it feels like its either a break, or walk away for good..

Nikki
