It amazed me how loudly a few people protested her wishes when the vast majority of the public understood her husband's love. It's one thing to disagree, but it seemed some people were taking the position that if you don't agree with them, you are aiding and abetting to murder (their words, not mine). Well, the courts ruled repeatedly in her favor, the public overwhelmingly understood her wishes and her husband stood by her regardless death threats and withering abuse. But these protesters seemed unable to understand there could possibly be any valid point of view other than their own.
One thing that confused me ... protesters kept talking about "her family" ... "the family". It reminded me of Brittany Spears saying she is anxious to "start a family". Uh, didn't she just get married? Some people seem to know all about when life begins and when it is supposed to end ... they are all about the sanctity of the family, but somehow they just don't appreciate that when two people are legally married, they are a family.
