Thankyou Susan, really sweet of you to say. My advice.. Members of my family have told me that I am not good at giving it, because I am too jaded or angry, and it colors my perceptions. I "try" to relay my personal experience instead, and people can make of it what they will. I dont always succeed at doing that.
It's also dangerous. I would never want to be responsible for someone doing the wrong thing, because I said something I shouldn't. The guilt would drive me further into insanity than I already am.
However, I have experienced alot, so sometimes I comment when the comment is not asked for. I hate that. But in all honesty, as a child I was mollested, and watched my father die infront of me, and as an adult, taken non-prescribed drugs, attempted suicide, spent time in a mental hospital, had a terrible marriage, had a great marriage, taken more types of prescribed meds than I can count, had stepchildren, had children of my own, and I'm sure I am leaving some things out.
It sure doesn't make me an expert, but it does give me a pool of information to draw from.Did I mention I am terribly long winded?
