I think it was a much more peaceful era, our generation was all about love. There was much more innocence then.

As far as my childhood traumas, the first one I was able to block out at that time because it had happened many years prior to that, but I was not so fortunate to be able to block out the 2nd as it happened during the latter part of The Beatles era. I had blocked it from my memory years later but both have come back to haunt me for the last several years now. There is always something that will trigger the memories; thus leaving me to relive them over and over again.
