SINGING!!! I could go on and on about it.

This is the one area in my life where I am not ashamed and refuse to run myself down.

I can sing and I do have talent and many have said my voice is beautiful.

I am favouring the light opera at the moment. It gives me power. I can sing in about 5 different languages. (Haven't mastered Portugese yet PC). I am totally at ease and know all of Sarah Brightman's material, including Phantom of the Opera.

And with all my hang ups and phobias, least of all depression, I have no problem standing on a stage and singing to hundreds of people.

I spent many of my school years in choir. Firstly as descant, then soprano and sometimes semi soprano. With age, the descant thing is a bit of “days gone by”. I have a couple of gold awards from eisteddfods I sang in.

After school I spent many years as the lead singer in the worship team of the church I attended. I don't attend church anymore though.

My "formal" training in singing has been wide and varied and has allowed me to teach a couple of people singing techniques. I have enjoyed the odd karaoke event but lately sing for my husband, son and me! Sadly, there have been days where depression has robbed me of the pleasure singing gives me.

My biggest feat and my proudest singing accomplishment ever, was to sing at my Dad's funeral service 3 weeks ago.

Well, that is my singing career.
