Internists

Posted by Dinah on July 27, 2004, at 21:12:47

Do people really talk to their internists? About stuff other than blood tests and allergies?

I like my internist because she doesn't *seem* like she's rushing me. But I know she sees tons and tons of patients, and doesn't really have much time. I think it's just a matter of her style and pacing that makes her seem like I don't have to spit out my symptoms at an auctioneer pace. I don't think I'd ever think of mentioning depression or anxiety. ?
