E-beth,
I don't know where you could get solian, and don't know much about it either. As far as the sleep irregularities go, something that helped alot of people (When I worked at a health-food store) was tryptophan. It was taken off the market for some time, but it is now available again, over the counter.
This new version usually goes under the name 5-htp. I use it when I can't get to sleep. It also has the benefit of increasing seratonin, and can help with depression in some people too.
