Hey, Noa. You're such a sweetheart! I wish I had a friend like you to pal around with.

I'm sorry you have problems with the weekends too. I probably had one or two bad weekends, and then started dreading them. I work hard during the week, so I shouldn't have to dread my time off from work.

I understand what you mean about extended time off from work. Sometimes you need time off, but unless you have some place to go or something specific to do, watching court TV shows, game shows, (I like Ellen, Dr. Phil, and Oprah but rarely see them, except Ellen is now on Oxygen in the evenings), and "if you or a loved one have been injured in an accident" attorney commercials gets VERY old.

Now see, to me you seem so popular that I can't imagine you not having a great weekend. Where do you go when you do something social every other day? I wouldn't even have a clue where to begin, although my social life used to be better years ago. My few friends now are married, so we don't socialize except when I go over to their houses, which isn't often. I rarely let new people see the real me because I'd have to explain why I don't have a lot of friends.

What are we doing this weekend? Yours is probably pretty great. I'll put on some sneakers (with socks this time) and will take a long walk when it gets cooler this evening. Then there's always something on cable, I think. I'd love to see a movie, but I hate to go to a movie by myself, so I usually end up renting something instead.

And since then, ie, all week, I've done a lot of NOTHING, too. I enjoyed some tv during my very lazy mornings (local news, "Ellen", and "Starting Over House", but after a while, that started to bore me. Still moving at a slow pace, but eventually, I started getting some things done--piles of paper work, bills, phone calls, etc. And, I did do a little bit of social stuff, too.

If the weather is decent, maybe I can get myself to go to this free nature walk (the easy version)nearby. But this means getting up early, which isn't easy for me.
