Karen I am here! I often come on the site and just read the posts. Sometimes I post myself but usually contraversies happen after I do that, LOL. As for me, I am hanging in there, a little lonely as you can imagine, not so much lonliness with family and friends but more the intimate loneliness, with it being valentine's weekend and all. As for money and a job, I have neither. Boredom and self doubt are running wild in my mind. I am starting Zoloft tomorrow after a three and a half month stint on Paxil CR. Only had partial response from it. This is my last try on meds for a while if this doesn't work. Tried too many meds over the past 12 years and simply can't afford it anymore. Well on a lighter note, i like to wear jeans and believe it or not I like my burgers plain, thou ketchup (or is it catsup) is preferable to mustard for me. I guess my favorite burger place is Fatburger, I use to go there alot when I lived in Los Angeles. I also like documentaries and like to watch E true hollywood stories and VH1 behind the music and of course the biography, history, and discovery channels. I never saw "Lost in Translation", it sounds interesting so I would watch it on your recommendation. Is it on cable or do you have to rent it? As for creating documentaries, I'm sure you could do it if you put your mind to it. (Assuming that your mind is working properly at the time, lol, jk) You seem to have good energy and certainly post alot so I would suggest putting that positive energy into your dreams. You should see if you could get an internship at one of the entertainment companies that do documentaries and work up from there, one step at a time.
As for my dreams, there aren't many left now, although I dreamed of being an actor for a while and have had many friends who have been on TV, I was not able to get there myself, thou I did go to some great Hollywood parties when I was there. I have also lived in New York City, Nashua,NH, Philadelphia,PA and have been in 48 out of the 50 states excluding Alaska and Hawaii. I stayed in Europe for 6 months in 1993 and saw most of it while working for a company called ADP. I would suggest going there if you get the chance, one of the best educational experiences I ever had. Now I live in my childhood bedroom in my parents house in NJ at 36 being dead broke, jobless, loveless, dreamless, and you guessed it, depressed. Enough of my complaining already! Anyway there is a little tidbit of my story. Also, thank you for thinking about me, I was surprised to see the post.
