It's so good that you can laugh about this : )!

I lock myself out ALL the time. From the car, house, office. You name it, I've locked myself out - or in for that matter.

The worst story was when I was 19 years old and living at home while going to college. I had a strange schedule, so one late morning I was at home taking a shower and everyone else was at work. For whatever reason (luckily, I guess) I had the cordless phone in the bathroom with me. Unfortunately, though, I had only a towel. The bathroom was right next to my bedroom and no one was home, so I figured I could run and get my clothes.

Anyway, the door and doorknob were kind of old. When I was finished and ready to make my "run" for my bedroom, I turned the knob and realized it was stuck. There was no way I was getting out of there. Hmm, what was a 19-year old naked girl to do? Well, my sister lived on her own and I knew she was home, so I called her for help. She immediately burst into laughter, called her friend, and they were on their way - in hysterics. In the meantime, my somewhat overreactive mother came home and called the FIRE DEPARTMENT! This, of course, was not before she tried to open the windown which was painted shut. While the firemen were on their way, my - ahem - crazy mother decided to try to knock the door down herself - WITH AN AXE!!! She said, "move to the back of the bathroom, I'm going to swing the axe!" She barely gave me two seconds, but it didn't matter, the axe only made a hole that didn't even go all the way through the door.

When the firemen arrived, they were able to get the window open as I stood there wrapped only in a towel. Oh the horror! Fortunately, my mom had the presence of mind to put some clothes through the window for me before I climbed out.

My sister and her friend - ROFLAO! It's taken me some time to get to the point where I laugh about. Back then, I must say I was a *bit* embarrassed.

Blushing all over again,
All Done
