I'm sorry you are so sad.
My teddy bear (whose name is Bear) has offered to give your teddy bear (or suitable substitute) lessons in comforting. He really is an expert. He's been comforting me for 8 1/2 years now. If you don't have a teddy bear, then you should go find the softest, most huggable one around.
