Were there warnings that came with the medication about these problems?

Were you being monitored by a physician?

Was there any reasonable way for you to have known what was happening?

Lots of times things like this are just accidents. There really isn't someone at "fault". It is unfortunate that it occurred, but there isn't anything you can do about it now.

There is something called "Radical Acceptance". That means that you accept reality the way it is. Lots of times we try to argue with reality, we want reality to be different. But reality IS. All you really have is control over the future. The past is done and can't be changed. But you can change the future. You can decide what you will do and whether it will help you to be happier or miserable.

This is really difficult to do, but until you let go of the past you can't move into the future.

(I fight with this because of my 8 year depression. I want this not to be the case. I want someone/something to reverse it - so I won't be depressed anymore. But that doesn't happen. When I look at what I can do to either get better or to cope with how depressed I am, then I can make some progress.)

I wish you luck. You show such strength by making this post.
