hi yesac!
from before:
> > and this is me:
> > last night i ALmost replied to answer this question from yesac BEFORE i realized he(she?) meant it as one of the answers to the Brio's getting to know you survey: "What question would you like answered?"
> >
> > ... which explained to me why he posted it ... and that he wasn't actually requesting our answers ... ... ... so much anyway ...
> >and yesac responds:
> Oh, you can totally answer - I wasn't necessarily requesting answers, but I always like ideas for contemplation.
>
> And... I am a girl, by the way :)... .. ... so i'm at a loss here ... ... i appreciate knowing you're a girl ... ... i don't know how to ... deal with how i didn't know ... ... because i don't need an excuse or anything since i haven't read you enough, which goes without saying ... ... and everything i feel about this new information to me is .. .... obvious and doesn't need saying ... ... (he looks at the floor and shuffles his feet) <sigh.> ... ... well, i'm glad you're a girl ... ... i like girls. .... thanks for letting me know .... oh! ... i'm a guy.
anyway: "Why is life unfair?" ... okay. ....
<ahem> ... "unfair" is so intrinsic to life that it stands to be asked in reply "Would we recognize it if life was fair?" ....
.... and then perahps, "Would it be interesting?"OR
perhaps its unfairness provides the challenge that makes life sporting .... .... say life was analogous to tennis ... ... the unfairness is the net ... ...OR
life is unfair in order to provide the dramatic tension to support meaningful narrative structure(s) ... ... ....happy contemplation, kind Ms yesac!
