I did once run into a co-worker---previous pdoc, previous job. It wasn't a big deal for me, tho I think it might have rattled her a bit.
Once at my previous job, the main receptionist answered the phone and took a message--it was the pharmacy calling to say that so-and-so's lithium was ready! I guess it is that kind of thing that these new laws are trying to prevent.
Sometimes I do worry about running into someone I know at the therapist's office. It is a suite with about 5 therapists, which increases the odds, of course.
