Here, it is mockingbirds who are the real annoyance. They are so f***ing territorial that I can't even sit in my own yard. They attack my cats too, mercilously. My poor Dusty is so stupid she has a hard time catching dry cat food, and the mockingbirds take advantage of her meekness. The birds don't bother my InkSpot; they know better. :-)

(both cats are 95% indoor and do not present a threat to the neighborhood. InkSpot is rarely out more than 5 minutes at a time, and Dusty is afraid to go outside.)
