I only ever make milk hot chocolate (with the 2% milk though!)... I heat the milk in a mug in the microwave (2 min exactly is perfect time for my mug size!!).. then whisk in the chocolate (I use Green and Blacks fair trade hot choccie)... unless it a special occasion (!!) when I buy these gorgeous 85% cocoa solid drops made for hot choccie.. you stir them in the milk in pan and whisk till all the chocolate has melted.. its pure heaven in a cup!!
