Once I went on a date with a guy, and he asked me what books I liked, and I said I was reading a lot of feminist authors, and he said that Hemingway was a "masculinist" and that was like the male equivalent of feminist. I thought it was a dumb idea, and it irritated me.
Not sure why I felt compelled to toss this in, but there you have it.
