Lili, do you know what I think? Your use of the number 8 clinches it for me, this is some powerful cosmic sh*t, girl. That figure, turned sideways is the ancient (greek? roman? Zen? scholars? ) symbol for infinity, and it is considered a feminine symbol.
I don't think your use of it is a coincidence.

When I was an abused kid I was obsessed w/ drawing this figure 8, on its side, and coloring it in over and over in different colors, it was all I'd do in kindergarten, drove my teacher nuts, must have made 50 of them in one year.
Then when I grew up and learned that it was the specifically female sign of infinity I realized something inside me must have known this and was refusing to go under. It's a complete mystery to this day, and seeing your 888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888 up on the board tonight made me think of it, and then hearing you say that this was going to be your new symbol to express rage and sadness and loneliness spoke volumes to me. I just wanted to add, turn it on its side now and then (which is what you do to everything that gets in your way) and it may take on richer meaning. Then again, I could be delusional, but like Mr. Lennon says, whatever gets you through the night. Is all right. It's all right.

love,
your everlasting blah blah
