Jay, I'm in Canada too & I got grants but no scholarships initially. But bursaries are great. You don't even have to have a 4 point average or anything. You only need to apply for them, & if you qualify (simply means you get reasonable grades & have a monetary need), you'll get a bursary - doesn't need to be paid back. You can apply for more than one too & each year you can get them.

Have you also checked out grants & scholarships that are available out there? Either through student services or on-line searches, there's an amazing amount that never get claimed as many people just aren't aware of them.
