Wong's direction is superb in all of his films, a true genius. Were you upset that it made you cry? I'm one of those people who can't cry when depressed, so if a film can provoke that reaction for me, I'm usually quite happy.

the very same, this is the only film of his I've seen, man was it stylish. I felt classy just watchin it. But no I don't mind crying in private, but cannot bear to do it in public, especially when no one else in the theatre is crying, like there's something weak in me, which only makes me cry louder. Anyway this is the most romantic film I have ever seen, Shakespeare-what could-have-been-but-shallnot-be-romantic, nothing else I've seen comes close. Let me know if you see it.
