Paul, if you've just been diagnosed, I want to let you know something. Yu may be quite aware of it so if you are, ignore this comment.
People with Asperger share some traits in common, but because one person with Asperger behaves in a certain way, doesn't mean all will show those traits. Each individual with Asperger is a special, completely unique personality. They can't be placed in a neat little category, so if you exhibit diffferent ideas than others with Asperger, it's to be expected.
