Your motto is only too true. But why is it that some people often Do get what they want, and what they need, while those of us who are good and pure must suffer with the second hand goodies? Hmmm? I hope there's something really good waiting for us somewhere.
I like your neighbor comment. We had a young 'un - 4 - up last weekend. Beautiful BBQ day. He's a sweetie, but if you're not used to being around them - the squeaks, and the squeals... oy!
Now you can rest. You can just crawl back into bed, and sleep if you need to.
