I wrote something similar in 97:
Walking into the future carrying the past,
My face reflected in a thousand raindrops that hurt as they hit the gound.
Wanting to run into my own reflection that ages faster as the need for life is stronger..... blah blah.........well a bit similar.
I like yours better .
