Hi Marie.
As Judi said in her post, sometimes it is best to back off , take a break. Between reading the book on transference and this discussion on the board, I can understand how it might get too intense. We can always revisit this issue in the future.
BTW, my therapist is away on vacation, and so far I am not missing her with any great intensity. So there is progress!
