She said that she only does individual therapy and is only interested in seeing me. She has suggested marriage counseling after I've come along further in individual therapy. I've been seeing her since February and I have made progress. What do you think? Is my therapist a quack, or is my husband being too intrusive?

Dear Waterlily,

I do not think your husband is being too
intrusive; be glad that your husband is open
enough to want to come to therapy with you.
Some therapists do not do couples' counseling.
So....you might want to consider another therapist, if couples' counseling is really
important for you.
