Unfortunately they or someone else did and followings is part of their posting/rant, which one would hope would be the last of this nonsense which has nothing to do with depression and every thing to do with psychosis and delusional thinking:

Comments: Somebody reposted a message from this bulletin board at another site, and one of the oh-so-helpful souls there replied:

"Buddy (quoted below) is obviously a gun NUT (ie. fanatic) who should be posting in WacKo Texas..."

So the person who wrote that thinks it is okay for a rouge branch of a government to use military tanks to crash into a building occupied by mostly women and children, knocking concrete walls on their heads, crushing them to death (per coroners report) and to fill the building with poison, highly flamable gas, to bar firetrucks from the site at gun-point, AND to speak hatefully of those who died, many of whom were college grads, trying to live healthy lives, by >calling them WackO. ...

Sounds like a death threat, to me, for "dj" to call a person who advocates current laws a fanatic and to say they should go to Waco e.g. be burned to death. But that kind of hatred is allowed at some of these mental health sites, as long as the threat is directed at people who are supposed to be marginalized and hated for the >benefit of the mainstream.

Though my tone was a bit intemperate, it reflected somewhat but to a much lesser degree the original posters tone on UD, a site which has NOTHING to do with guns - go figure... But this recent response, partially excerpted above, is so out to lunch and such a distortion of anything I wrote that it only leaves me mouth agape, in pure wonder at such distortion.

Waco was a tragedy in many ways and it reflects some of the worse of excesses of society, on all fronts. But with people who reason like these posters running rampant with firearms I am only gladdened that I live in Canada where firearms are more tightly regulated, though we have our 'fringe' fanatics as well, who distort with their retorts and reactions. All societies do, however up above the U.S. border we believe in civilized law and order, and good government, generally and have laws that try to guarantee it.

Anway, enuff of that...

amen,

dj
