Cam,

You and I have known each other long enough that I think we understand each other's sense of humor (scary thought eh?). Just wanted you to know that I didn't take any offense to anything you said at all. Your sense of humor has made me smile on days when I didn't think it was possible and I am grateful for that.

I do think this has kind of give some validity to my original post though, which I've posted at the bottom of my message here, just in case anyone is curious what this is all about.

Peace Bro,
Greg

> SC - Could you elaborate? I am not sure what you are trying to get across. Of course I was trying to be funny. Greg and I are fairly good cyber-friends, with many things in common. I do believe that Greg understands the type of humor that I was using. I doubt that he would think that I was offending him.

His view as to why this happens is (1) the major holidays, Thanksgiving and Christmas, are extremely hard for a lot of people (financial worries, bad prior experiences, trouble coping with family and friends), and, (2) the winter months (rain, snow, cold weather) are tough for many people and tend to make even "normal" people depressed. He says these factors among others, tend to manifest themselves into, what he termed "out of the norm" behavior.
