I have not had that with my T, but I have with other important people in my life.
It usually happened during a time when I feel too close to them and am afraid of getting hurt by that so I "turn off" my feelings in an attempt to save myself.

Not sure if this is what's going on with you. Maybe. How have you handled intense relationships like this in the past? Similarly? Or does it feel like this type of detachment is new and specifically for your T?

Has your T been saying things lately that just have not been resonating well with you? That could be a turn off as well.

I'm curious to know what she says about this.
