I find dream work very important. Much like my art work. It reveals things about my unconscious processes that I am not aware of (because they are unconscious, duh). However because dreams are so revealing, and because I can't control what is going to come out, I find I am very anxious before bringing them up in T. For example, I have a dream from about two weeks ago that I have typed up and have been carrying around in my bag ever since. Each session I try and each session I can't find the courage to deal with it. My T knows it's there, but I am having difficulty trusting her at the moment and just can't bring myself to share it with her. Sigh. I suppose this too will pass.
