Good advice but one thing.......I am terrified of even doing it alone, I don't know why I developed this phobia, I have had it for as long as I remember. It is aweful, really.
I lucked out that I knew music theory well enought I could test out of 3 years of it in school, but it was a WRITTEN test, and there were NO singing. This is one of the reason I quit music school, because I knew I had to take that one last class.
I absoultely terrified of singing outloud, I don't know why, but I am. I can't even sign happyf birthday to my son in two days, I pretend to do it. I never had, it is so embarresting. Do you think he will allow me to use sign language instead?
