Gosh-- that brings back some bad memories-- wife thing bothers me-- house and family thing bothers me even more.

I really wouldn't ever go to a T who had a home office again-- I really want to have a sense of a shared space, without intrusions from other people, esp. family.

But it's kind of a theoretical approach thing-- and depends on what kind of work you're doing, perhaps. But it would send me into apoplexy to see a)wife b) wife letting door close somewhat in my face c) wife hanging out laundry (ps. who hangs out laundry in this day and age?) d) other people (??) e)who knows what else.

On the other hand, you may eventually be able to blackmail him, if things keep on in this direction-- who knows what's next?
