Hi SixSecrets,

It is perfectly ok to post in this board. That is what we are here for. And I am glad you posted.

Personally, I care very much about each of the babblers here. I don't know why, but there is something that just melts our heart, when people tell their innermost stories and fears to you. Your post did the same. My heart really goes out to you, and if there is any way, I could make you feel better, I would.

Please do hang in there, and call 911 if things take a turn for the worse. Or if you have a pastor or a counsellor or close friend or a relative, please call them immediately. Or atleast go over to a public place, and hang out in a cafe shop or deli till this feeling passes over.

When we get old, many times, we enter into this stage, where we feel we are used. Every old person I know has complained of this at some time or the other. I don't know how old you are, but take heart in the fact, that this issue is common to many old people, and also that, most of them pass through this phase of thinking and emerge out to be decently happy and start feeling good about themselves.

I know I have been through this phase myself - when I have felt used, or cheated in life, or just plain worthless, even though I am not that aged. But they are like passing seasons - there are rainy days, there are days when there are severe snowstorms, and days where there is bright sunshine.

It is told that God created the seasons, just to teach us about the passing phase of the feelings. You might be feeling very painful these days, but I am sure there will be days when you feel better. If you have a favourite person, or a cartoon character, or someone who you liked in the past, think of them. Sometimes I do that when I am feeling very down - I think of someone or the other who had been very nice to me in the past, and that helps me.

And I don't know if you believe in God. But the belief that God loves me in spite of how unworthy I am, helped me through my worst of the times. That espeically helped me whenever I felt used or cheated, because God would never use me or cheat me. I am not going to make a religious sermon, but if you believe in God, it is time to go to church or a group meeting, or just go and pray, and I think it will help you feel better immediately.

Please let us know how you are doing, and post as much as you want.

Take Care, and lot of warm and big bear hugs to you.
Orchid.
