I guess I don't quite understand this, either.

BUT

I was really posting to tell you about a professor I used to do this to. He shared an office with another professor I used to hang out with. We'd sit there in their office, they had their backs to one another, and "my" professor and I would try very hard to get a reaction from his office-mate. Every so often, I'd see his back shaking a bit, which meant we'd done it. ONCE, though, it got to the point he literally banged his head on his desk a couple of times and turned around with tears rolling down his face! It was great fun.

(He was a funny guy, by the way. Just a game between the two of them, with him trying NOT to react...)
