I would say you need to go into a pain management clinic for a bit. They can help the transition from one med to another, and assess pain, what works etc.

I don't know where you live, but try googling your city or state (province, whatever) and "pain management".

One of the biggest problems with pain is the psychological stuff that goes along with it. Being in pain really messes with your mind, so some docs want to chalk it up to psychiatric stuff.

Do you have a psychiatrist? It would be helpful to have one to advocate for you as they are respected.

What I think you most need is someone to advocate for you. Who do you know who is well-spoken, intelligent, who knows you very well, who understands meds a little, and who might do well talking with people in the medical profession? As you are in the throes of all this crap, you are not going to present very well.

Try to drink lots of water, lots and lots of water. Even if you can't eat much, try to drink lots of fluids. No alcohol.

I wish you the very best, Kerria.
