I would feel sad too. A loss is a loss, no matter who terminated the relationship. Do you feel you got all you wanted out of the experience?
My husband is usually supportive, but sometimes, I just don't think they (husbands) know how to respond to someone elses pain. I think he is on the upswing of the learning curve. And it's a big curve, so we have a long road ahead.
