Mine have always been 50 minutes, except that my meds sessions with my pdoc are a half an hour, I think.

While there are days that 50 minutes seems like an eternity, I don't think I'd like shorter. I'm a slow starter and sometimes it doesn't seem like we get to the important stuff until there's only 10 or 15 minutes left.

And we do run over some, particularly if she doesn't have a patient coming in after me. She doesn't tend to bill me for the extra time unless we extend it to another half session. Maybe she doesn't bill me because it doesn't happen that often and I tend to be more vigilant about keeping to the time than she does.
