I sympathize. I get hypochondria on and off and when it is bothering me it is hell on earth. The constant voices in my head telling me I am sick, the worrying that I did something to make myself sick like using too much aspartame, the fear that a freckle is malignant melanoma, etc. Prozac helps a lot. Also, I am going to start DBT. One other strange thing in my life helped; I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis based on an MRI of my brain and was actually getting treatment in the form of injections for many months. Finally got another opinion and he gave me a spinal tap the results of which showed that I didn't have Multiple Sclerosis. But, for those months that I thought I did I survived.
