Thats interesting. I have done maybe 7 years of cognitive behaviour therapy, but now I am sick to death of it. After a time it started to feel like we were so much in the here and now that I couldn't abstract from it enough to see the overall patterns that I keep repeating. Now I'm having psychodynamic therapy and for the first time ever I am starting to talk about my childhood experiences. It is interesting to me the notion that different people may be better suited to different styles of therapy and it is interesting to me that we both concluded that we needed a change.

Do you have two therapists at the moment - a cognitive one and a psychodynamic one?
