Yes, I felt strage about it too. If you think you can handle listening to your pdoc describe your dx, or if you just really want to know, then you should go ahead and ask. But you might feel labelled afterwards... And you know what that can lead to-self-prophesying, bad/hurt feelings... I just want you to be aware of all the possible outcomes so you are prepared.

I used to wonder the same thing! I've come to the conclusion that I can't fix myself because I can't be objective in relation to myself. I need someone else to look at what's going on.
