I give them Christmas ornaments. Hand-painted, of course. My pdoc was so appreciative last year.

> Office comfort -- too hot, too cold - Do you speak up or dress in layers?

I don't say anything unless asked. Usually it's fine, though my pdoc's office can be a bit chilly at times. I usually bring a jacket.

This has happened to me on several occasions with my therapist - but I don't think we've ever gone in together. Usually she'll come in just after me.

> Your appointment usually falls on Thursday. Do you make an appointment on another day that you KNOW will be totally booked and you are being "sqeezed" in (admitting to the NEED)...or do you skip to the next week?

Depends on how I'm feeling. If I need to see her (or him) I'm okay with being squeezed in. My pdoc saw me at 9:30 p.m. week before last b/c he was going out of town on our normal meeting day. I felt a little bad keeping him out so late, but I'm not the only patient he sees at such odd hours.

> About reading Psych books - do you tell what you are reading? Give them a copy?

I recommended "In Session" to my T. And showed her that I had checked the Linehan books out of the library. So, yeah, I share what I am reading. But I don't give her a copy.
