I'm with you, Pinkeye. My therapist and I seem to have the same taste in books and movies; she acts like my friend. It's all to make me trust her, only I have trouble opening up to her because I want her to like me and she might not if she knew the things I am too ashamed to tell her about.

Therapists should talk to patients/clients about transference early on, before the patient/client starts experiencing it and then doesn't know how to deal with it.
