The Depression Book: Depression as an Opportunity for Spiritual Growth--Cheri Huber
ISBN: 096362556X

Slightly (hah, very but gentle in its message) buddhist in nature but a kind, gentle book that I've turned to many, many times as the black dog comes chasing me down. My copy is tattered from rereading since 1995. I find this one of the best books I've got on depression and self acceptance of living with such an illness and I've got at least 50 professonal texts and lay person books on the subject.

Can be purchased at:
http://www.powells.com/
http://www.booksense.com/

From Booksense.com: Independent booksellers are passionate about sharing their love of books with their customers and communities. After you enter your Zip code and click "Continue Shopping," you'll be presented with book information from the BookSense.com store nearest you.

BookSense.com gives you the opportunity to shop online at your locally owned, bricks-and-mortar independent bookstore ... 24 hours a day!

Dr. Bob already knows why I do not use the double quote feature to link to Amazon. I've included the ISBN so that people who wish to support such a place may type that number in to order from there if they so wish.
