Ditto on writing it down - I try to jot things down between appointments. To start each session I run down my list and we decide where to start, which items receive priority. This also eliminates the "Oh crap, I forgot to mention xxx" that always happens to me after I leave the office!

I also feel like this makes the most efficient use of the time that I'm in therapy. It's worth a try! I wouldn't get much done in any area of my life without my lists.
